Congratulations to all the girls! While we are unable to take everyone we appreciate everyone coming out tonight and participating in cheer tryouts.

If you make the squad the following dates are mandatory:

1. Parent/girls meeting will be held Tuesday, May 8th 6pm in the gym, for girls and parents. We will go over  lots of paper work. We will have a "fit kit" available at the meeting for the girls to use for uniform sizing.

2. 1st practice will be held Wednesday, May 9th 6:20 am in the gym.

NBJHS 2012 – 2013 CHEER TRYOUT

MANDATORY

Parent / Cheerleader meeting in the NBJHS GYM:

Tuesday, April 17^th at 6 pm

Clinic Dates: @ NBJH GYM

Tuesday, May 1^st from 6:30 – 7:30 am

Wednesday, May 2^nd from 6:30 – 7:30 am

Thursday, May 3^rd from 6:30 – 7:30 am

Tryout Date: @ NBJH GYM

Friday, May 4^th starting promptly at 4:00 pm

**You must be present for each clinic date in order to tryout. Attendance will be taken.

***Both the clinic and tryouts are closed.

Cheer Practices will be held:

Monday and Wednesdays from 6:20 am – 8:00 am

*Near competition we may have additional and/or Saturday practices.

*Practices are subject to change upon coach availability

*NBJHS will be cheering at all home games. We will not travel unless it is to attend competitions.

*Our cheer competition dates will be given later on in the year.

Competitions almost never run on time, you may want to attend early so you don’t miss the girls.

Please drop off girl’s at 8:15 am at the NBJH GYM
Girls must all ride over to the competition together on the bus.

You will need to arrange transportation home from the competition for your daughter.

CHECK LIST

Wear your cheer uniform

You may want to bring a change of clothes

2. Wear your hair in a high pony, slicked back, no whispies, with your competition bow.

3. Eat a good breakfast & Pack a sack lunch or snacks.
There may be a snack bar at the competition so bring $ if you want to purchase junk.

4. Bring Water!!

5. Don’t forget your smilin’ faces and awesome attitudes! It’s gonna be a fun day

UPDATE FOR CLINIC @ AZ ALL-STARS

1. Our stunting clinic on Monday, 12/19 had to be cancelled. NO practice or clinic on Monday, 12/19

2. We have rescheduled the clinic for Saturday, 12/17 from 10:00 –12:00 (yes, 2 hours). I apologize for the Saturday practice as we normally try to schedule all clinics during early release days to leave weekends open for family time.

This will be a VERY busy day for the girls since we have so much to work on during the 2 hour session.

ü Bring extra water to stay hydrated

ü Bring your $10 to pay AZ All-Stars

ü Make sure you have your practice clothes, shoes and hair up and out of your face.

ü Girls will need to be dropped off a little before 10 am @ AZ AllStars and picked up around 12 @ AZ Allstars.

WASHING/ DRYING INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW CHEER TOPS

Please wash in cool water, no bleach and free from other items that may bleed.

Air dry flat to help maintain the awesomeness of your new embroidery. :)

Below you will find a list of things that need to be completed. I will be handing out this check list at our 1st practice. Please let me know if you have any questions.

2. Pay your $75.00 athletic fee, tax credit form can be used 8/1/11


3. Turn in your 1st Quarter candy and soda donation 8/1/11


4. Pay $21 for your bows, cash or check made out to Tammy McDonald 8/1/11


5. Ordered game day t-shirt 8/15/11


6. Ordered cheer uniform 8/15/11

ATTENTION GIRLS!!!! Very Important info!!!
If you have already ordered your skirt from Omni I need to exchange it for you. At our first practice please bring me your skirt on Mon 8/1 and I will order the correct skirt for you. The new MATCHING skirt will be $3 more so please bring me $3 in cash to pay the difference.
If you have not ordered your uniform yet please order Item # 611SBM.
If you have ordered but not received it please call Omni cheer at 1.800.299.7822 and ask to change your skirt to item # 611SBM. You can reference our rep Jessica @ x175 if you need.
